Ocean View Villa for Sale in Huatulco, Mexico

About Huatulco

Huatulco (wha - TOOL -co) is Mexico’s premier eco-resort with nine bays and 37 pristine beaches spread over about 20 miles of jagged coastline. This is where the Sierra Madre del Sur meets the Pacific Ocean. There are two seasons, dry and rainy but Huatulco experiences an average of only 35 days of rain per year, much of which falls at night. Although we do not get a lot of rain here there is no shortage of water. This is because of our proximity to the mountains where it does rain and three rivers drain into The Bays of Huatulco. The average year-round temperature is about 30C (86F) and the thermometer does not vary more than a few degrees from winter to summer making this a perfect year-round resort.

Huatulco is a safe place to live. The people here are friendly and many Mexican people have chosen to make Huatulco their home because it is such a good safe place to raise a family. It has been virtually untouched by the violence that has plagued some regions of Mexico and may actually be safer than many small towns in Canada or the USA.
